Hotel Features. The Doubletree Metropolitan Hotel is furnished in retro style browns and reds that mix with modern light fixtures and flat screen televisions. Cookies are provided upon arrival. The Met Grill, located in the lobby, serves American and continental fare. The adjoining cocktail lounge, the Met Bar serves light fare. The hotel provides a fitness center featuring cardiovascular and weight training equipment. Key access is provided 24 hours daily. A business center features four workstations while wireless Internet access is provided for a fee in all public areas.
Guestrooms. All 722 guestrooms offer Sweet Dreams Bedding featuring plush top mattresses and 200 thread count linens with triple sheeting. Four large down pillows are included. Guest bathrooms provide slate accents and stainless steel sinks. Complimentary Neutrogena bath products are included in all rooms. Some rooms feature sofa sleepers while all rooms provide honor bars. Newspaper delivery is available complimentary upon request. Limited hour room service is available and complimentary in room safes are laptop compatible.
